Support group in Boston helping adults heal from narcissistic relationships through psychoeducation and processing emotional experiences

WHAT THIS GROUP OFFERS:

✨ Community: This group is a compassionate space designed to support adult children of emotionally immature parents. These relationships are so isolating because most friends and family don’t understand the struggles endured by adult children, such as people-pleasing, self-doubt, and difficulty trusting others. This group connects people who understand the experience of lacking emotional support and validation from their parent. Being witnessed in our struggle by an empathic community can be a big step forward in our healing journey.

✨ Education: Understanding emotionally immature traits can help us to navigate these relationships in a way that aligns with our values. Emotionally immature relationships require completely different communication and boundary-setting strategies than other types of relationships. Topics covered in this group include, but are not limited to: Understanding Emotional Immaturity, Impacts to Adult Children, Letting Go of Childhood Roles, Breaking Cycles, & Finding Self.

✨ Change: I am a firm believer in the power of a healing community! Changing your relationship to an emotionally immature parent is truly an act of self-preservation and liberation, but it is some the hardest work you will ever do. You are so much more likely to set that boundary or change that relationship this time if you know there’s a group of supportive people waiting to cheer you on at the other end of that huge life decision! Through guided discussions, psychoeducation, mindfulness and community support, this group will help you build self-trust, strengthen boundaries, and and reclaim your sense of self.
